A clear start, together
Working with Lumera
A well-run election starts with clear responsibilities. Here’s what you can expect from us, and what we’ll need from your team.
01
Agree the scope
We provide a written quotation covering deliverables, dates, support hours, messaging allowances and applicable taxes. Together, we confirm the scope and name the people responsible for approvals before preparation begins.
02
Confirm your booking
For single and managed elections, a 60% booking payment is required before onboarding and preparation begin. The remaining 40% is due before voting opens. We confirm receipt and the next steps. Annual partnerships have their own agreed advance-payment schedule.
03
Prepare together
Your organisation supplies the voter register, confirms eligibility and approves candidates, election rules and the ballot by the agreed deadlines. We guide your administrators through the agreed setup and readiness checks. If information or approvals arrive late, we review the schedule together before confirming what can proceed.
04
Approve additional work
If your requirements change, we explain the effect on delivery dates and cost. Extra rehearsals, register revisions, extended support, messaging or custom development outside the agreed scope are quoted separately. Additional work begins once the revised scope and payment arrangements are agreed.
05
Confirm the outcome
Your authorised election officials approve the final outcome and instruct us when to publish. Lumera supports the technical results workflow and the agreed handover. Publication is not independent certification of the election.
06
Plan for changes
Your quotation sets out postponement, cancellation and refund terms before payment. Contact us as early as possible if your plans change so we can review the work already completed, booked support and available dates with you.
Let’s plan your election
We’ll confirm the details for your election in a written quotation before you commit. This page describes our usual process; your accepted quotation records the scope and terms for your booking.
